How is this different from a card game or question deck?
Card games give you questions and leave you to it. Conversation Gems is a hosted experience: Hunter walks you through the entire evening on video, sets the mood with a guided opening exercise, explains the rules, and keeps the energy moving. The questions are designed around a specific theme (adventure) with a built-in game mechanic (finding "gems") that makes the conversation feel playful, not like an interview.
Do we both need the app?
Nope. One phone (or tablet, laptop, TV) is all you need. One partner holds the device to read the question, and the other answers. You switch roles each round.
Does it actually take 60 minutes?
